THE GENERAL SPEAKS THE TRUTH #S-37

Today's 'TRUTH' is.....

As much as the media, bloggers and 'good folk' tried to destroy Kanye West for his 'Taylor Swift' incident, which subsequently led to the 'Matt Lauer Interview' incident and collaborated with 'George Bush Hates Black People', his latest album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' debuted on Billboard's Top Album chart at Number 1. It sold over and estimated 500k copies in it's first week.

Add to that, the debut album from Young Money/ Cash Money Queens native, Nicki Minaj came in 2nd place. Her sales were estimated at over 325k, despite the social network assassination attempts. The 'TRUTH' is I'm amazed (not really) at the amount of sales even though there was a heavy amount of my friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter (respectively) who claimed that the album wasn't worth the studio time or money that it took to produce. I guess everybody had to buy their own copy to hear it for themselves.... Chuckle!!!

Well, here's the proof in the pudding.... as they say.
